SECTION 1
How to Find a Student
How can you find where a student is supposed to be during flex time? You can look them up on the Appointments page.
1. Log in to your Enriching Students® account and select Appointments in the navigation.
2. If your school has more than once flex period, in the Periods dropdown, select the period you need to find.
3. In the search bar, type in the student’s name or the SIS ID. Select 'Enter' on your keyboard or click the icon to search.
4. Once you find the student, see where they are scheduled on the current date. This is where they should be during flex. See an example in the image below, showing the student's name, the teacher and course they are scheduled to, and their assigned room number location for that flex period.
SECTION 2
Find & Schedule Unscheduled Students
You may be tasked with finding all students who are not scheduled for flex, and scheduling them to a few common areas.

2. Select the date, and flex period you need to find unscheduled students for.
2. Next you will see a list of students appear under Unscheduled Students. To select all of them, check the All box at the top of the list. To select individual students you want to schedule, check the box next to their name.
3. When you select a student, they will be moved to the Scheduled Students column. To remove a student, check the box next to their name again. To remove the whole list of students you’ve selected, check Remove All.
4. Now you need to choose where the students will be scheduled to. You will do this under the Schedule Appointment heading. You have a few options.
- First, you can toggle Hide Homebase Courses or Hide Courses With No Available Seats, if you want to narrow down the courses you’re viewing.
- The text box is optionally adding a comment. If you want to add a note about why you’re scheduling these students for example, you could type that here.
- Next, select the department and course you want to schedule these students to. Keep in mind, if this is a large group of students, you can only schedule them to a course that has enough seats. Your school may have created a course for a location like the Gym or Library where large groups can be scheduled. Otherwise, you may need to schedule small groups of students to different locations where there are enough seats for them.
- The last option to select is the appointment type, which reflects what they are being scheduled for. Is it an Extra Help session? An Enrichment activity? These appointment types are created by your school.
5. Once you’ve made all of your selections, click Save, and these unscheduled students will now have an assigned place to go for Flex.
