This document describes what's included in the August 2026 release.
Bug Fixes
There are several bug fixes in this release.
- Inconsistent display of graduation year names. There are locations in the staff site where a graduation year of 2027 is being displayed as Senior, which is correct. In other locations, it's being displayed as Junior.
- An issue exists that is preventing users from editing Adjusted Offerings.
- When updating a password in different locations in the staff site, if the initial attempt to save the passwords failed due to the password and the confirmation password not being the same, a warning label is be displayed. The warning label would remain, even when the password and the confirmation password had been fixed and were the same.
These bugs are fixed in this release.
Appointments
There are several enhancements that have been made regarding appointments.
Additional Save Button When Taking Attendance
When taking attendance, if the number of appointments is larger than what can appear on a single page, the Save button appears at the bottom of the list, as well as the top. This makes it easier to save the changes you've made when taking attendance.
Details When Date Is Blocked
When you as a staffer have been blocked or when you're part of a department that has been blocked, the Blocked Reason is now displayed under the ACTIONS button.
Highlight Soft Deleted Students on Attendance Page
When a student has been soft deleted, but still has appointments, the fact they are soft deleted is now highlighted when taking attendance. This will make it easier to know the status of the student and to determine if you want to delete the appointment.
Multiple Comments on Appointments
Prior to this release, an appointment could have one Scheduler comment and one Attendance comment. We've done away with that limitation and with distinguishing between comments. An appointment can now have an unlimited number of comments from any number of staff.
Student Self Scheduling Limited Based on Imported Grade Values
If a school is importing grades into Enriching Students, you can now use those grades to determine if a student is able to self schedule. This is configured by going to Admin, Configuration, Student Settings. Once there, you will see the option Limit Self Scheduling By Grade Value.
First, select the check box and then select the Grade that is the cut off.
This will only impact students that have been granted self-scheduling permission to begin with.
Quick Schedule Can Hide 0 Count Seats
On the Quick Schedule window, you now have the option to hide any course where there are no available seats.
Dashboard
Blocked Dates
When viewing the "MY WEEK AHEAD" section of the dashboard, it now displays the blocked reason if the date has been blocked. This is true regardless of how the date was blocked
New Reporting Tool
We were seeing issues with the prior reporting tool we were using. There were times when the report would hang and become unresponsive.
We've invested in a new reporting tool. It comes with more options for exporting the data in different formats.
All of the reports still exist, this is simply about the tool that renders the reports.
New/Existing Reports
Daily Attendance Report
This is an existing report that has been updated. If the attendance was set by import, the report will reflect that.
Student Pass - Student Request Analysis
For the selected date range, the report lists dates and for each date, the students that had passes. It displays the number of passes issued, vs. the number of passes requested.
Student Profile Site
We have created a new site that will allow staff, students as well as parents/guardians to view the student profile information.
Staff View
Staff will access the site in the same way they've accessed the student profile, by clicking the student's name in different locations throughout the site. Be aware that when you click a link to get to a student's profile, it will open in a new browser tab. However, once the tab has opened, you can select from a drop down list that will allow you to view any student in your school.
Student View
A student will access the site by logging on to Enriching Students; once logged on, they will click the My Profile menu option and will be brought to the same site. Of course, the drop down list the staff see will not be displayed to students. A student is limited to seeing just their own profile.
Parent/Guardian View
A student's parent/guardian will have access to this site as well. Initially, only parents that have been imported via Clever/Classlink will have access. In the coming weeks, we'll be rolling it out to parents that are manually added to the system.
In order for a user to access the site, the will visit the same login page staff & students use, login.EnrichingStudents.com. Once there, they will see the option Parent Sign In
When that option is selected, the user will be able to provide their email address. Of course, the email address has to match the value that was provided via Clever/Classlink. An email will be sent to the user with a link that will allow them to access the site. There is no provision for the parent to provide an email address & a password, they can only log in by receiving an email.
Once logged on, the drop down list will give the parent access to every student they are associated with.
Students
Graduation Year Ranges
Prior to this release, it was possible for a school to accidentally enter graduation year ranges that didn't make sense. For example, a school could enter 1950-2050. Clearly an accident and it would cause issues in different parts of the application. The range is now limited to 20 years.
