You can view, add and edit your student passes from the Dashboard. To view active and pending passes, select the My Student Passes tab.
Active Passes
First, you can view any passes that you have approved and are currently active. Note that the pass is displayed with the students name, its current status, the destination the pass is assigned to, the remaining time, as well as who issues the pass. When a student returns, click the Return Pass button.
If a student has exceeded their time limit, the status will be marked as Expired, and the timer will turn red and display how long overdue the student is. However you are still able to return the pass when the student returns.
Pending Passes
A pending pass is one that a student has requested and has not been approved, or refers to a pass that was created for a future date. You can see in the image below that the status is Pending. For a student-requested pass, you will see their name, the destination, and the time the requested the pass. If your school requires them to type a reason for a certain destination, you will see this here as well.
Select the Actions button and select Approve to accept the pass request move it to the Active Passes section. This will also automatically start the timer. In addition, you can choose to Reject the pass, or View Today's Passes.
When you choose View Today's Passes, this will pull up a list of any other passes the student has requested and been issued for the current day. Granted shows the number of minutes the pass was approved for, while Actual shows the number of minutes the student was away before the pass was returned.
