The Dashboard is the page that you see when you first log in to your Enriching Students account.
It shows you:
Along the top of the dashboard, and on every page, you will see your name, a notification bell icon that will show you how many new or unread messages you have, a music note icon, and a search bar so you can search any student quickly by name or Id.
To view messages, click the notification bell.
The music note icon is for an audible sound when you receive a student pass request. Simply click the music note to enable or disable sound. A slash through the note means it is disabled. The image below shows an example of sound enabled.
SECTION 1
My Flex Scheduling
When you first log in to Enriching Students, you will be on the Dashboard page. By default, you will be on the My Flex Scheduling tab. This tab shows you useful information about your upcoming flex appointments, and your students' needs.
There are 4 boxes on this page. The first is Today's Appointments, which shows you all of the students scheduled to you for the selected Flex period. Each student it listed with their name, the Grade level, SIS ID, as well as if they were scheduled by you, the logged in user, or were student self-scheduled.
From here you can also Take Attendance.
SECTION 2
My Week Ahead
Next is My Week Ahead, which at a glance shows you how many appointments you have scheduled for the next 5 days, for the selected Flex Period.
SECTION 3
My At Risk Students
If student grades are imported, and staffers are enabled to view them, any at risk students assigned to you will be displayed in the My At Risk Students box. A staffer needs permission to view grades. By granting that permission to the staffer they will be able to see grades of any students on their rosters or in their homeroom/advisory. Grade-view permissions are set by an admin for a staffer on the Admin Manage Staff page. What constitutes an 'at risk' student? Your school may determine this by setting a grade cutoff, found under the Admin -> Manage Grades. Any grade a student has in a subject that is at or below this 'cutoff' will be considered 'at risk.'
See an example in the image below. You will see the student's name, the course they are struggling in, and the corresponding grade. If your school has provided the information about who the instructor of that course is, you will see that information as well. In addition, you can click on a student's name to view their Student Profile.
SECTION 4
Upcoming Adjusted Offerings
This box will show any adjusted offerings you have coming up in the next 2 weeks. An Adjusted Offering is an activity or session you are offering students. It could en enrichment activity, test prep, a specialty group, etc.
In the box below, you will see the Date the offering is being held, the Offering Name, and the Location, or room number where it will be held. To edit one of these offerings, click the Offering Name.
SECTION 5
Page Options
You also have a few options for how to view this page. At the top right of the Dashboard page is a gear icon.
When you select this icon you have 2 options. By default they are switched to 'off.' If you like, you can choose to hide the Upcoming Adjusted Offerings box and the My At Risk Students box. Click the toggle button to switch these options on and off.
