If you have been selected to be an event manager, you will see a Manage Event link on the event listing. When you click this link, it will take you to a page that allows you to check staff or students in and out of the event, and see who has currently checked in or out.
On a larger screen, this page will look something like this.
Scan to Check In and Out
This page will work on any device type, and is made up of two sections. The first, is the main check in sections. You will see the scanning area that uses your device camera to scan a student or staffer's badge. Simply hold the badge up to your device camera to scan them in or out.
You can also click the Event QR Code button to display a QR code specific to this event. Staff or students may scan this code with their own personal device, which will also check them in. They must be logged into Enriching Students and select the self check in button on the event listing in order for them to be checked in.
Search for Users, Manual Check In
The second section shows you a list of invited staff and students that you can filter, and manually check in or out using the buttons next to their name (ee the red Check-Out and green Check-In buttons below).
You filter this list by typing a user's name in the Filter by Name field, Filter by Graduation Year, or Filter by Check in Status. In the example below, Filter by Name has been used to find a specific student.
The Check in Status dropdown makes it easy to see who has or has not checked in. Quickly see a list of everyone who has checked in, hasn't checked it, or who has checked out by selecting the different statuses in this dropdown.
