The admin Configuration page contains 5 sections. Read this entire article to learn about all of them, or choose an option below to jump to a section:

Flex App
SECTION 1
Account Info
Here you can view, set up, and edit information for your school's Enriching Students account. Here is a description of what you will see:
License Information
This can't be edited, but simply shows you how many total licenses you have, and how many are currently being used.
Import Key
This also can't be edited. Here you will find a value that you will need for importing data.
SFTP Information
If your school wants to set up automatic imports and exports, you will need SFTP information to do so. Find that here, along with details about how to import and export grades and absent student files.
SECTION 2
School Settings
This section contains some user settings and your school branding. Any time you make an edit, click the Save button at the top of the page.
Attendance Settings
Use this section to set if taking attendance is a requirement for flex. If you want to send automated emails to staffers to remind them to take attendance, the Require Attendance be Taken box must be checked, and you will need to set a time of day you want them to have taken attendance by. Once these are set, if attendance is not taken by the set time, an automated email will be sent out to anyone who has not taken attendance.
The reminder will include the current school day and the prior six schools days. So there's a "rolling window" of reminders about taking attendance.
Freeze Appointments
If you want to prevent appointments from the current day from being edited or delete, check the Freeze Appointments box.
Graduation Settings
These are the start and end graduation years for students in your school. Click in the field for Start Year and End Year, and choose one of the options.
Open Schedule Phrase
This is the phrase that students will see in their Enriching Students account for dates and periods that they aren't scheduled. By default this will be 'Open Schedule Today'.
School Branding
The School Branding option allows you to set the name for your school's flex period.
This will be displayed in the header next to the notification bell. See text underlined the image below for an example of where you will see your school branding.
Time Zone
Here you can choose your school's time zone in the Time zone dropdown. This is helpful because it will make certain calculations accurate -- for example, when you view when emails were sent on the Email Logs page, the date and times will be accurate only if you set a time zone.
SECTION 3
Staff Settings
This allows you to set school-wide permissions for staffers. Many other permissions are set on an individual basis, and can be done on the Manage Staff page.
Block Date Settings
If you only want to allow Admin users to block dates, check this box and select Save. You can edit this at any time.
SECTION 4
Student Settings
Here you can set student permissions and other settings related to students. Any time you make an edit, select Save at the top of the page.
Student Scheduling Adjustor
This page allows you to set when you want to allow students to self schedule. Learn how to use the Student Scheduling Adjustor.
Send Comments in Student's Email
Check this box if you want students to be able to view scheduler comments when they are emailed their schedule. Students will also be able to see comments when they log in to their account.
Student Can Overwrite Their Homebase Appointments
Check this box to allow students to re-schedule themselves to another staffer, even if they are currently scheduled to a homebase appointment.
Student Must Provide Comment
If you want to require students to add a comment in order to make an appointment request, or self-schedule, check this box.
Imported Students Self Scheduling
Checking this box will mean that any future student who is imported will automatically be given self-scheduling privileges.
Show Students Adjusted Offerings Only
When this option is selected, student's will only be able to view adjusted offerings. Of course, this means that if there are no adjusted offerings created for the date/period the student is viewing, there will be nothing for the student to schedule to or request.
Student Pass Configuration
As an admin user, you can manage many aspects of the hall pass from the Admin > Configuration page.
SECTION 5
Manage Locations
On this page, you can manage the destinations a student or teachers selects when creating a pass. This page will list all of the locations that have been set up.
Select the Actions button next to a location to Delete or Edit the location information.
Learn how to add a new location here.
SECTION 6
Pass Management
Select Pass Management, and you will see a page where you can view and create rules for how many passes can be out per day at your school, for a select student or group of students. On this page, view the current lists you have created, and select Actions next to a record to edit it, or delete it.
Click here to learn how to create or edit a pass list to limit passes for students.
SECTION 7
Student Restrictions
When you click this section, you will be able to view groups of students that are restricted from having a pass out to the same location at the same time.
To use this page, select a student from the dropdown list, or type in the label to find them. Once you've made your selection, this will pull up a list of any students that the selected student has restrictions with.
To edit this group, you can select Actions next to a student's name, and Delete them from the restriction. if needed. You can also choose Add Comment for a student, which will let other staffers know why they are restricted from having a hall pass out with the other students in the group.
To create a new restriction, or add more students to the current group, view the Add Student Restrictions help article.
