This document describes the updates that are to be released for December 2024.
Adjusted Offerings
On the "classic" site, when creating an adjusted offering, the Offering Room would default to the staffer's room. This feature has now been added to the current site.
Updates for Take Attendance Page
There are several changes for the Take Attendance Page.
The first is a simple bug fix. The updated dashboard is not displaying a calendar control, but that meant when taking attendance, it wasn't possible to move to another date. The Take Attendance page has been updated to display a calendar control that will allow you to take attendance for prior dates.
Adjusting Appointments from Take Attendance
The Take Attendance page now allows you to edit existing appointments.
Prior to this release, it was possible to remove a student from your list of appointments. This release enhances that feature by allowing you to reschedule the student, instead of simply deleting the appointment.
The approach is exactly the same as what's used on the Appointments page, so you should be very comfortable using this new feature.
Day Types
Enriching Students has supported Day Types for several years. However, their use was limited to Custom Automation; that is, rules can be created that take into account different day types. With this release, we are expanding the use of Day Types. All of the below features are based on a school having created Day Types.
For each of the items below, you will have the option of selecting Weekdays and/or Day Types.
If you select just Day Types, then these would be the only thing that is used to create/filter the data you're working with.
However, you can select both Days of the Week as well as Day Types. For example, you could select Wednesday and Friday and then select "A" days. This means the days that would be used are any Wednesday or Friday that are also "A" days, within the date range selected.
You will see this change on the following pages:
- Adjusted Offerings
- Advanced Appointments
- Blocked Dates
- Mass Appointments
