This document provides an overview of what's being released in April 2026.
Students Creating Their Own Pass
You can now allow students to create their own passes without the need for teacher approval. For this to work, an admin needs to give that student permission to create their own passes, and the teacher needs to allow passes to be created without their input.
There are several steps that are needed in order to make this feature work. Learn how this works and how to manage it as an admin on this page.
Create Bell Schedule to Limit Passes
Enriching Students now imports the SIS Period data from Clever & Classlink. This allows schools to create and use bell schedules in Enriching Students, which can be used to set when passes are allowed to be issued.
For example, you may want to restrict passes for the first and last minutes of certain school periods. You can now set this once you have set up your bell schedule. Learn more on the Manage Bell Schedules page.
How Will This Be Used?
Currently it will be used for Student Pass. Knowing where students are throughout the day, means we can provide some meaningful feedback as they make Pass requests.
And we'll be exploring other uses of this data as time goes by. If your school has any requests on how we might use this data, please reach out.
Bug Fix
There was a bug that allowed a staffer to use the Group Delete option to delete appointments they didn't have permission to delete. This bug has been addressed in this release.
